Quincella Rivers moved to Las Vegas in 1979. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Work and a minor in Spanish. She has a Master Degree in Social Work Administration. She is a retired Licensed Social Worker. Her professional career included the positions of Juvenile Detention Counselor, Juvenile Probation Officer and a Senior Investigator for Child Protective Services. She has worked extensively with sexual abuse victims.
After retiring from Clark County, she worked for Bilingual Behavioral Services, an agency that provided mental health services to children and their families. She was the Community Liaison and Manager of Human Resources of the agency. She volunteered extensively with Human Trafficking. She was the Committee Chair of the Human Traffic Committee with the Women Engagement Council, which was created by PBS.
She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Top Ladies of Distinction, Starlight Chapter, Southern Nevada Sistas of Service, and a member of a Woman Acapella Community Chorus, Desert Harmony. She has an undying passion for the arts, which led her to become the Founder and President of L'Bella Arts In Motion, Inc., a non-profit organization that supports all genres of the arts. Quincella began writing when she was eleven years old. One of her obstacles was her hearing impairment. She is the published author of a poetry book, Think of Me When You Drink Tea. She is currently working on her second poetry book which will be published in the spring.
Kenyatta Neal is a Chicago native, educator, entrepreneur, public speaker, and passionate author with over 30 years of experience empowering others. Affectionately known as "Mookie" as a child, she overcame a rare bone disease that once prevented her from walking—an early challenge that shaped her mission to inspire resilience in others.
Now based in Henderson, Nevada, Kenyatta is the author of Mookie’s Miracles, a children’s book series inspired by her own journey. Her stories uplift children with disabilities and motivates all children to overcome fear, doubt, and adversity. As a dynamic speaker, she empowers women in business, aspiring authors, and young leaders by sharing her personal story and practical tools for success.
Kenyatta actively gives back through school visits, writing workshops, and community events across the Las Vegas Valley—proving that with purpose, passion, and perseverance, anything is possible.
Dr. Tiffany Tyler-Garner’s personal and professional achievements reveal a servant leader committed to transforming the conditions that impact children, families and communities. As a member of The Links Incorporated, Dr. Tyler-Garner has support in several areas with a particular commitment to Services to Youth.
Currently, Dr. Tyler-Garner spearheads workforce development and social initiatives for the City of Las Vegas. Prior to joining the City, Dr. Tyler-Garner served as the executive director of Children’s Advocacy Alliance, a 23+ year child policy advocacy organization. Dr. Tyler-Garner’s professional journey also includes serving as a member of the Governor’s cabinet, CEO of an affiliate of the nation’s largest dropout prevention organization and the COO of a White House-recognized workforce development nonprofit organization.
In each of these roles, Dr. Tyler-Garner has been a champion for opportunity while spearheading the delivery of services or policy to improve conditions for Nevada’s most vulnerable populations. Moreover, Dr. Tyler-Garner is a published researcher, author, psychologist, and veteran nonprofit leader with a commitment to service that includes serving on the Clark County Juvenile Justice Services Citizen Advisory Committee, Communities in Schools of Nevada's Board of Directors, and Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Multicultural Advisory Council.
Dr. Tyler-Garner’s commendations include the Urban Chamber of Commerce’s Women Business Advocate award, Vegas Inc.'s Humanitarian of the Year award, Workforce Connections’ Workforce Development Champion of the Year award, and UNLV College of Education Alumna of the Year award. Dr. Tyler holds a Doctorate in Educational Psychology for the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, a Master of Science in Counseling from California State University- Northridge, and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Southern California. Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, AA Monet is an award-winning poet, award-winning screenwriter, author, book publisher, and space creator. Her first published work, Lost And Found, is an interactive poetry book focused on self-reflection and self-love. Her newly released 3-in-1 children’s book, All The Things That Make You Special, allows children to not only read, but draw and color. With recent partnerships with restaurants, nonprofits, and bookstores, AA Monet aims to leave a lasting impression throughout her community one book at a time!
