Stillhouse Junkies in Concert
Free-Range Folk from the Hills of Southwestern Colorado
Acoustic adventurers Stillhouse Junkies explore the worlds between roots, bluegrass, Texas swing, blues, and rock. Their free-flowing musical interplay and improvisation make every concert unique.
Never taking the same path twice, the trio weave high-energy, intricately composed original songs. Formed in 2017 and based out of the Southwestern Colorado town of Durango, they consist of founder Fred Kosak (guitar, mandolin), Alissa Wolf (fiddle), and Jeanette Adams (upright bass).
Stillhouse Junkies' most recent effort, 2025’s “The Ballad of Charlie Avalon,” is an ambitious concept album featuring narration by newgrass icon Sam Bush and an immersive 55-minute concert film. The band has also released a series of singles featuring collaborations with the legendary Tim O’Brien, renowned fiddler Ross Holmes, and popular songwriter Rachel Baiman. They tour relentlessly across the United States and abroad gaining a reputation as one of the most exciting bands in the acoustic music scene.
