Join world renowned photographer and National Geographic Explorer Thomas Peschak as he shares the untold story behind his groundbreaking new book, Amazon.
To document the rarely explored underwater worlds of the Amazon, Peschak spent 396 days crossing the world’s largest river basin, from its icy headwaters at 20,000 feet in the Andes mountains all the way to the Atlantic Ocean. As part of the National Geographic and Rolex Perpetual Planet Amazon Expedition, Peschak blended his expertise as a marine biologist with his passion for photojournalism, documenting the river's wonders and challenges.
Hear firsthand about his incredible encounters with pink dolphins, packs of giant otters, electric eels, stealthy caiman, and the critical conservation issues facing this vital ecosystem.
Don't miss this opportunity to dive into a world rarely seen and be inspired by the power of photography to drive conservation.
