A true maestro of the stage and studio, Woody Woods, is a multifaceted independent entertainment professional whose career spans the globe. Originally a woodwind specialist on the tenor sax, flute, and clarinet, he shifted his primary focus to the piano in junior high, developing the masterful technique and signature style that have since become his forte.
As a self-taught composer, conductor, lyricist, and pianist, Woods brings a rare level of craftsmanship to every project. His extensive credits include:
Original Artistry: Writing, arranging, producing, and mastering every track on the album So Smooth under the N2L Record label.
Collaborative Production: Producing and arranging "Mine All Mine" on the Onyx1 CD Right Now, featuring the soulful vocals of Terrence Forsythe.
Global Performance: Gracing world-class stages alongside legendary acts such as The Four Tops, The Las Vegas Rat Pack, and the Nova Scotia Mass Choir.
Whether he is capturing a moment through the lens of a camera or leading the Woody Woods Group, Woods remains dedicated to the purity of the arts and the power of independent creative expression.

The West Las Vegas Library opened originally as a storefront on “D” Street in 1973, and later growing to a 16,000+ square-foot, stand-alone branch on West Lake Mead Boulevard in 1989, the new location on North Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard reflects another important milestone in the Library District’s service to this neighborhood. Spanning two stories at 41,000+ square feet, the library’s spectacular new home is more than double the size of its predecessor. In addition to offering an Event Center, 3D Printing Lab, the Historical African American Collection, and Digital Memories Preservation Lab, this 41,000-square-foot library houses an all-new collection of 60,000 volumes.
