A night of spectacular Indian classical and fusion dancing!
Rooted in Indian Classical Dance style called Kathak, which means storytelling, today's performance will showcase a lecture-demonstration by the dancers first performing traditional Jaipur Gharana, or School, of Kathak, followed by a Kathak Fusion/Classical Bollywood dance performance. The two-part showcase will feature traditional kathak compositions such as Tarana, Tora, Tukra, Paran, Tihai and others, and the second part of the show will showcase the most prominent cultural dances from different parts of India.

Originally operating out of a storefront on Brush Street, the West Charleston Library opened in its current location in January 1993. This 38,900-square-foot building is located on the northeast corner of the College of Southern Nevada’s Charleston Campus. This location, which features a Digital Memory Preservation Lab, serves its student population and residents with over 67,000 volumes and features a 276-seat lecture hall.
