Rebecca Sabine, an accomplished violinist with the Las Vegas Philharmonic, will guide you on a meditation journey with live violin improvisations, recorded soundscapes by local composer Aaron Ramsey, and imagery of the stunning desert landscapes surrounding Las Vegas.
Wear comfortable clothing and bring a cushion, floor mat, or anything that will support you in feeling comfortable lying on the floor. Chairs will be available for those who choose to sit.
Rebecca Sabine is a certified meditation teacher and violinist with the Las Vegas Philharmonic. A resident of Las Vegas, she played many years at Caesar’s Palace: from Frank Sinatra to Adele, including 8 years with Celine Dion. One of the Library District’s largest branches at 122,000-square-feet, the Sahara West Library opened in January 1997 under the architectural design of Meyer, Scherer & Rockcastle, Ltd of Minneapolis and local architectural firm, Tate & Snyder. This location serves residents with its 159,000 volumes, has two art galleries, and features an EmployNV Business Hub, which provides resources for employers to recover and grow their businesses.
