Exploring Safety: A Program for Families with Young Children

Join staff from University of Nevada Extension for a parenting education workshop designed to improve awareness of important child safety issues and to increase parenting knowledge.
During each weekly class, families (with children ages 0-5) engage in a variety of hands-on activities related to safety.
Free and open to the public. Registration is required. Families are expected to attend all sessions. To register or for more information, please call 702.507.4301.

The Blue Diamond Library was opened in 1970 in a small trailer purchased with a Federal Library Grant. In 1989, a local Blue Diamond resident began construction on a new 1,000-square-foot library, which opened in 1992. It now houses over 5,000 volumes and serves the 200 residents of Blue Diamond and Red Rock Township.
