In Japan, the ancient tradition of enjoying the beautiful but ephemeral blossoms of cherry trees is called hanami, which literally means 'flower viewing.'
Participants will:
Learn about Japan’s cherry blossom viewing tradition, hanami.
Explore the beauty and significance of sakura (cherry blossoms) in Japanese culture.
Create their own crepe paper cherry blossom branch to take home.

The Enterprise Library, built in 1996, is a 26,300-square-foot building located just south of the world-famous Las Vegas Strip. Serving customers from the Enterprise Township and the southwestern part of Las Vegas, this library houses a collection of over 70,000 volumes and features the Cox Teen STEAM Lab, which offers free access to technology equipment and educational programming for local youth.
