Zen Gardens or dry rock and sand gardens or karesansui first appeared in Japan in the 13th Century. Instructions include "The Story of the Autumn Leaves", a traditional Zen story, as well as a guide to the symbolic meaning of the lines in the sand. Enjoy this reminder to keep reading all Summer long and be part of the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District's Summer of "Myths and Legends".

The Enterprise Library, built in 1996, is a 26,300-square-foot building located just south of the world-famous Las Vegas Strip. Serving customers from the Enterprise Township and the southwestern part of Las Vegas, this library houses a collection of over 70,000 volumes and features the Cox Teen STEAM Lab, which offers free access to technology equipment and educational programming for local youth.
