Living with Wildlife - Snakes
Has a slithering snake moved in next door? Have you seen a scaly friend while hiking? Join us at the Centennial Hills Library to learn all about Nevada's snake species. During this snake-specific family program we will learn about the venomous and non-venomous snakes that call Nevada home, how to stay safe while enjoying the outdoors, and participants will get the chance to meet a live snake!

The 45,555-square-foot, LEED certified gold Centennial Hills Library opened in January 2009 and is built on a seven-acre site in the northwest area of Las Vegas, adjacent to Centennial Hills Park. This bustling library houses nearly 110,000 volumes, features a Homework Help and Homeschool Center, and shares a building with the Library District’s Distribution Center, a storage, and overflow facility.
