Homework Help CenterA hands-on beginner-friendly program where creativity meets financial confidence.
This is a 2-day creative program where students learn the fundamentals of sewing while transforming old denim jeans into a stylish drawstring backpack or tote bag. Additionally, participants will explore creative independence, ways to upcycle clothing such as denim, a money marketplace, the basics of pricing to sell, and the environmental impact of textile waste.
A representative from New York Life (NYL) Kids In Suits Program will also introduce the 50-30-20 budget rule (SMRU #502058), share practical money-saving tips, and be available to answer questions and provide additional support.

The 45,555-square-foot, LEED certified gold Centennial Hills Library opened in January 2009 and is built on a seven-acre site in the northwest area of Las Vegas, adjacent to Centennial Hills Park. This bustling library houses nearly 110,000 volumes, features a Homework Help and Homeschool Center, and shares a building with the Library District’s Distribution Center, a storage, and overflow facility.
