Join us early at 8:00am at Fletcher Canyon Trailhead (about 2 miles before the library, parking is on the left and the trail is on the right) to go birding with the experts! Red Rock Audubon Society will lead a hike along the gorgeous trail and help participants spot some of the awesome birds that live on and migrate through Mount Charleston.
At noon, Red Rock Audubon Society will do a presentation at the library on birds, birding, and nature education.
We hope to see you there!

Buried in snow in the winter and cool during the hot days of summer, the Mount Charleston Library is located in Old Town, about 40 miles north of Las Vegas at an elevation of 7,200-feet. Opened in March 1987, the 2,800-square-foot facility houses 5,500 volumes and serves the beautiful community that surrounds it.
