The Goodsprings Library serves the smallest community in Clark County with only 170 residents and 2,500 volumes but is full of rich history. In 1968, the Goodsprings Library started in the living room of an old mining house owned by the parents of the librarian. In 1970, the library moved into its existing 900-square-foot trailer, less than a mile from the famous Pioneer Saloon and within walking distance of the Goodsprings Community Center and the Goodsprings Elementary Schoolhouse.
