Join us at West Charleston Library and "Explore Your Library" during this year's Customer Appreciation Celebration!
Discover new activities, programs, services, and get your library passport while enjoying:
- 10:30 AM - Baby storytime with book giveaway
- 11:00 AM - iPhone for Beginners
- 12:00 PM - Movie Matinee (Alice in Wonderland, 2010 version)
- 2:30 PM - Design your own weekender bag
- 4:00 PM – Preserving Memories in the Digital Memories Preservation Lab
- 4:30 PM - Kid Rave (with glow sticks and DIY instrument giveaway)
- Take n’ makes for both Adults and Children (while supplies last)
Visit additional Library District branches this week to collect stamps for your library passport and participate in more activities all week long (April 19-25)!

Originally operating out of a storefront on Brush Street, the West Charleston Library opened in its current location in January 1993. This 38,900-square-foot building is located on the northeast corner of the College of Southern Nevada’s Charleston Campus. This location, which features a Digital Memory Preservation Lab, serves its student population and residents with over 67,000 volumes and features a 276-seat lecture hall.
