Two movies that seemingly have nothing common… except being funny! The reason we will be showing the first film, "Christmas Vacation," is because it's holiday season! One of the most popular Christmas movies. The second film we'll be showing is "Clue," which was first released December 13, 1985. "Clue" will also be the movie the Flamingo Film Club will be discussing the next night December 14. So, on the 13th come watch the film where we will be showing all three endings! Then, the next night, join us at the Flamingo Film Club to discuss "Clue," and what's makes a movie a cult classic. "This is war, Peacock. Casualties are inevitable. It's Christmas! And instead of going on vacation the Griswolds have decided to stay home this year. "Fun" in-laws, a Scrooge of a boss, and lights...lots of them!

Here is the murderously funny movie based on the world-famous board game. Was it Colonel Mustard in the study with a gun? Miss Scarlet in the billiard room with the rope? Or was it Wadsworth the butler? Meet all the notorious suspects and discover all their foul play things. You'll love their dastardly doings as the bodies and the laughs pile up before your eyes. This version includes all three endings that originally were played separately in theaters.

Originally opening in 1966 as a three-room library within the Airport Annex building, the Clark County Library moved in 1967 to a storefront. In 1971, the library moved again to its current location using deeded land from the County and with money awarded by the Max C. Fleishman Foundation. The building went on to have two remodels: one completed in 1986, and the second completed in 1994, which resulted in the three-story, 120,000-square-foot building it is today. This redesign notably included a 399-seat theater and an 80-seat black box theater/dance studio. The Library District also added the Best Buy Teen Tech Center, which provides a place for teens to explore and master new technologies and digital skills.
