Join Rainbow Library in the children's area for free meals for children under the age of 18. Food is provided by Three Square Food Bank.
Free meals are available in the Youth Services area for ages 2–17 on Monday - Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., while supplies last. Meals must be eaten in the library, and children must be present to receive them. Food is supplied by Three Square Food Bank on a first-come, first-served basis.

Designed by HAS Architects, the Rainbow Library originally opened as a storefront in 1985. In March 1994, the library moved to its present 26,800-square-foot facility. Located northwest in the city, just off I-95, this location serves its active residents with over 70,300 volumes and features an outdoor amphitheater.
