Children of all ages are invited to join us for an hour of STEAM inspired exploration. Every week a different selection of STEAM inspired toys and games will be available to encourage beginning coding, engineering, and critical thinking skills. The West Las Vegas Library opened to the Historic Westside Neighborhood on D Street in 1973 before moving to its current location on Lake Mead Boulevard in January 1989. In addition to offering a 298-seat theater, the African American Special Collection, and a state-of-the-art robot lab, this 38,900-square-foot library houses 27,700 volumes and has become a prominent part of the community.
