Poet & author Kevin Nowak shares his poems of hope and understanding that have helped hundreds of people experiencing homelessness, disaster displacement, and chronic illness with words of comfort.
Join us for an hour of friendly, uplifting poetry with complimentary snack as author and national speaker Kevin Nowak reads motivating and refreshing selections from his published work. Nowak Poetry is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization designed to provide inspiration through poetry for individuals challenged by homelessness, natural disasters, cancer and other life-threatening situations, by donating books to comfort, encourage and support those in need. All are welcome to attend.

The Sunrise Library, a 22,900-square-foot building, is located on the east side of the Las Vegas Valley near Sunrise Mountain and close to Nellis Air Force Base. Serving its many residents since October 1987, this library features 53,500 volumes and serves a dense student population with several schools within its service area.
