Prepare for those family gatherings as we wind down 2024 with this dementia workshop that covers risk reduction, activities, and approaches for better communication.
Join us for a 90-minute information session that covers the basics of dementia, strategies to reduce the risk of developing dementia, activities to better understand the experiences of people living with dementia, and approaches for effective communication, presented by Dementia Friendly Nevada.
This program is perfect as we prepare for family gatherings, the holidays, and the new year.
This program is free and open and available to the public. It is open to all ages, but space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is not required, but please register if you know you'll be in attendance. This helps us with seating and you will receive a reminder notification a couple days prior!
Give the library a call or stop by if you have questions! We're available at 702.879.3845.
