Join The Common Thread, Windmill Library’s Fiber Arts Circle, a welcoming and creative space where crafters of all skill levels come together to share, learn, and create! Bring your own knitting, crochet, embroidery, or other fiber arts projects to work on while you connect with fellow makers in a relaxed, social atmosphere.
New to crochet? No problem! We offer limited beginner-friendly instruction on simple stitches to help you get started, and supplies are available for practice.
Whether you're a seasoned fiber artist or just picking up a hook for the first time, the Fiber Arts Circle is the perfect place to stitch, chat, and be inspired. Come for the craft, stay for the community!

The Windmill Library opened in May 2011 in the southwest part of Las Vegas. This 30,693-square-foot, energy efficient location was built using sustainable design and construction practices, houses over 95,700 volumes, and features a 300-seat auditorium. The adjacent Service Center houses the Library District’s administrative offices, support functions, and processing center.
