In today's world of smartphones, tablets and on-demand services, children are a technology and media-saturated generation. It's important that parents understand how to use digital media with their children in healthy ways. The workshop highlights:

- Quality & educational screen time
- Digital citizenship
- Online safety & cyberbullying

The Blue Diamond Library was opened in 1970 in a small trailer purchased with a Federal Library Grant. In 1989, a local Blue Diamond resident began construction on a new 1,000-square-foot library, which opened in 1992. It now houses over 5,000 volumes and serves the 200 residents of Blue Diamond and Red Rock Township.
