Each month, the Nevada Department of Wildlife will present a different topic! See program description for this month's event.
Owl Pellet Investigations
Join us for an exciting owl pellet dissection program where you'll get hands-on experience exploring the diet of these fascinating nocturnal hunters! Participants will learn about Nevada's owls, then dissect their own owl pellets to examine the bones and other remains, discovering what owls eat and their role in the ecosystem. Recommended for ages 6 and up, but designed to be enjoyed by all ages (yes, even adults!).
Free and open to the public. This will be a ticketed event while supplies last. Tickets be handed out 30 minutes prior to the event at the Multiservices Desk. For more information, please call 702.507.6107.
