At this meeting you can share your feedback, ask questions, and receive updates on various topics affecting our local community.
Topics includes trail maintenance, Mt. Charleston storm damage repair, re-bolting efforts, film events, and other stewardship, land management, and access issues.
The SNCC works with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the Forest Service in order to help preserve and maintain the recreation areas and the surrounding environment.

One of the Library District’s largest branches at 122,000-square-feet, the Sahara West Library opened in January 1997 under the architectural design of Meyer, Scherer & Rockcastle, Ltd of Minneapolis and local architectural firm, Tate & Snyder. This location serves residents with its 159,000 volumes, has two art galleries, and features an EmployNV Business Hub, which provides resources for employers to recover and grow their businesses.
