Looking for a writing group? Author Marijke McCandless will facilitate a freewriting class for all levels of writing.
This isn’t your typical writing class. Rather than facing a blank page trying to share something we already know, we’ll dive into the unknown. We’ll release the inner critic, along with worries about punctuation, grammar, and eloquence. When we allow our words to flow freely—without trying to perfect them—we begin to trust our natural voice, effortlessly. Whether you're a seasoned writer or a total newbie, this space is for you. Curious? Come try it out!
Counts as a Summer Challenge Activity.

The Blue Diamond Library was opened in 1970 in a small trailer purchased with a Federal Library Grant. In 1989, a local Blue Diamond resident began construction on a new 1,000-square-foot library, which opened in 1992. It now houses over 5,000 volumes and serves the 200 residents of Blue Diamond and Red Rock Township.
