Curious about American Mahjong but not sure where to begin? Join us for a fun and engaging 3-part series where you'll learn the basics of this timeless game of strategy, memory, and tradition.
Dive into the world of Mahjong with instructor, Marcy, who has been playing for over 50 years and will guide participants through the rules, strategy, and etiquette of Mahjong during the first 2 sessions. The final session will be a relaxed free-play session to practice your new skills and enjoy the game with others.
What to Expect:
Perfect for absolute beginners—no experience needed! You'll learn the game's foundation to build upon, have new friends to play with, and maybe even find a little competitive spirit.

The Windmill Library opened in May 2011 in the southwest part of Las Vegas. This 30,693-square-foot, energy efficient location was built using sustainable design and construction practices, houses over 95,700 volumes, and features a 300-seat auditorium. The adjacent Service Center houses the Library District’s administrative offices, support functions, and processing center.
