Fun Geography Program
Join us for an exciting space adventure where kids become scientists who’ve just discovered a brand-new planet! What will they name it? What does it look like? NASA sends them on a top-secret mission to investigate who lives there.
Our brave young astronauts blast off in a spaceship, travel through a wormhole, and land on the mysterious planet. Who do they meet? What do the aliens look like—are they friendly? Do they go to school, play video games, eat pizza?
On their return journey, the crew dodges a meteorite, glides through Earth’s ozone layers, and waves to dolphins and whales jumping from the ocean below before finally landing safely.
At mission’s end, they report back to NASA with everything they learned about life on this new world!
For grades 2-5. Space is limited and registration required. For more information, please call the library branch at 702.507.3712.
