Hey teens, do you enjoy painting AND creepiness? Come to the West Las Vegas Library Teen Zone for creepy altered art and get your paint on with clay figurines that you can alter for the season! This program is free and open to the public for students 13-17; a library card is not required to attend. Supplies may be limited and are available on a first come, first serve basis. The West Las Vegas Library opened to the Historic Westside Neighborhood on D Street in 1973 before moving to its current location on Lake Mead Boulevard in January 1989. In addition to offering a 298-seat theater, the African American Special Collection, and a state-of-the-art robot lab, this 38,900-square-foot library houses 27,700 volumes and has become a prominent part of the community.
