Enjoy enchanting and exotic South American Flute music presented by Flavio Martinez in celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month.
Flavio is an accomplished musician who, while attending the Universidad of Guadalajara in Mexico, fist discovered the haunting and beautiful sound of South American flutes and became instantly enchanted. During his performances he uses a wide variety of flutes such as; Quena, Quenacho, Panpipe, Sikus, Sanka, Malta and more. The unique sounds range from soothing and relaxing to joyful and festive!

The Windmill Library opened in May 2011 in the southwest part of Las Vegas. This 30,693-square-foot, energy efficient location was built using sustainable design and construction practices, houses over 95,700 volumes, and features a 300-seat auditorium. The adjacent Service Center houses the Library District’s administrative offices, support functions, and processing center.
