Boost your reading skills while making a new four-legged friend!
Children grades Pre-K through 5th grade can come to the library to practice their literacy skills by reading to a therapy dog. Reading to a dog at the library gives children a relaxed, judgment-free space to practice their reading skills. Therapy dogs are calm and attentive listeners, which helps build confidence, reduce anxiety, and make reading more enjoyable.
Free and open to the public. Supplies are limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, please call 702.507.4015.
