Join us for our 6-week program for teens and young adults in everything job related.
Hey teens and young adults! Looking for a job? Trying to up that resume and cover letter game? Trying to wow the interviewers? Join us for a workshop detailing everything you may need for this. See the schedule below for each week's workshop:
- Thursday, March 20: Writing a resume, cover letter, and finding jobs to apply for;
- Thursday, March 27: Customizing resumes and cover letters for a specific job application;
- Thursday, April 3: Job interview tips;
- Thursday, April 10: Mock interviews;
- Thursday, April 17: All about new hire paperwork, like W4s and i9s;
- Thursday, April 24: Your first day of work! What to expect and what questions you may want to ask.
This program is free and open to the public, and is intended for teens and young adults. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis and may be limited. Combined with the Senior Center, the Indian Springs Library opened in its current facility in February 1987. This 1,200-square-foot library houses over 4,800 volumes and serves nearly 1,000 residents, most of which are military personnel and their families from the Nevada Test Site and Training Range.
