Teens and tweens are invited to explore the life of African American inventor Garrett Morgan and create a model using paper circuits.
Join us at the Rainbow Library for a celebration of Black History Month! We'll learn about Garrett Morgan and his groundbreaking invention: The Three-Signal Traffic Light. We'll also read "Saving the Day: Garrett Morgan's Life-Changing Invention of the Traffic Light" and build our own traffic light model with paper circuits.
This event is free and open to the public. For more information, call the youth services desk at 702.507.3712. For ages 10-18.

Designed by HAS Architects, the Rainbow Library originally opened as a storefront in 1985. In March 1994, the library moved to its present 26,800-square-foot facility. Located northwest in the city, just off I-95, this location serves its active residents with over 70,300 volumes and features an outdoor amphitheater.
