Celebrate Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage month with Las Vegas soulful singer, and songwriter, Jan Jan. Her sound emanates influences from Karen Carpenter, Regina Spektor, Kasey Musgraves, and Lana Del Rey. Jan Jan had a featured residency at The Shag Room in The Virgin Hotel Las Vegas and has performed throughout Vegas from The Arts District to The Strip. Other notable performances include singing for the International Medical Corps Gala in Beverly Hills and opening for Nick Carter from The Backstreet Boys on his American tour. Her first EP, "How Do You Do", was released in 2022 under Cold Summer Records and features her original music.
The Jan Jan band features producer and multi-instrumentalist, James Pasqua, singer/songwriter, Andrew Silva, and bassist Singer/Songwriter Pure Joy.

The Windmill Library opened in May 2011 in the southwest part of Las Vegas. This 30,693-square-foot, energy efficient location was built using sustainable design and construction practices, houses over 95,700 volumes, and features a 300-seat auditorium. The adjacent Service Center houses the Library District’s administrative offices, support functions, and processing center.
