Dr. Gregory Schneider, Associate Dean for Clinical Education at Roseman and Medical Director of Roseman Medical Group, and Dr. Farzad Kamyar, Psychiatric Supervisor for the Roseman Medical Group EMPOWERED program will share their insights and strategies to reduce these disparities. The West Las Vegas Library opened to the Historic Westside Neighborhood on D Street in 1973 before moving to its current location on Lake Mead Boulevard in January 1989. In addition to offering a 298-seat theater, the African American Special Collection, and a state-of-the-art robot lab, this 38,900-square-foot library houses 27,700 volumes and has become a prominent part of the community.
