Join us at your Moapa Town Library on Tuesday, May 20th between 1pm - 6pm and get registered for Summer Challenge!
Follow along a StoryWalk path featuring the book: Over and Under the Canyon, written by Kate Messner and illustrated by Christopher Silas Neal. The book features desert landscapes and animals native to the Mohave desert, with rock formations similar to those at Red Rock Canyon. The walk will be available all day, weather permitting.
Or, stop by the library between 4pm - 5pm to visit with Cinnamon, the Miniature Horse brought to us by Pet Partners of Las Vegas. (https://www.petpartnersoflasvegas.org/)
Then, qualify for a chance to win more awesome prizes all summer long, including a drawing for a chance to win a 3-PIECE SET OF LUGGAGE!
How to enter the drawing:
1. Register for the 2025 Summer Challenge either on the Library District's website or in person at the Moapa Town Library between May 1 - May 15.
2. Drop by the Moapa Town Library anytime between 1pm - 6pm on May 20th, to enter the Registration Drawing and enjoy free snacks, crafts, and games.
The winner will be notified later in the week.

Located in the unincorporated township of Moapa, the Moapa Town Library originally opened in March 1989. Combined with the Moapa Recreation and Community Center, the library is located next to the gymnasium in a 2,000-square-foot building that serves 700 customers and houses 9,600 volumes.
