Kealoha is Hawai'i's first Poet Laureate Emeritus. As an internationally acclaimed poet and storyteller, he has performed throughout the world.
Kealoha has been booked to perform at concerts, festivals, corporate events, conferences, keynote addresses, weddings, AANHPI (Asian American, Native Hawaiian, & Pacific Islanders) showcases, speaker series, rallies, anti-violence shows, HIV awareness days, art openings, motivational seminars, cultural events, award ceremonies, and fundraisers. His performances combine poetry, storytelling, movement, music, theater, and interactive speaking. He is a seasoned performer who has toured throughout the world, playing to packed houses in cities such as Zürich, Amsterdam, São Paulo, New York City, Chicago, Seattle, and San Francisco. He has also made numerous television and radio show appearances, and has performed in hundreds of live venues throughout Hawai?i including the ?Iolani Palace, Aloha Stadium, Waik?k? Shell, Neal Blaisdell Arena, Hawai?i Theatre, Maui Arts and Cultural Center, Studio1, Kumu Kahua Theatre, Hawaiian Hut, Pipeline Café, and the Hawai?i Convention Center.

The Windmill Library opened in May 2011 in the southwest part of Las Vegas. This 30,693-square-foot, energy efficient location was built using sustainable design and construction practices, houses over 95,700 volumes, and features a 300-seat auditorium. The adjacent Service Center houses the Library District’s administrative offices, support functions, and processing center.
