Children can learn about and create their very own time capsule.
Have you ever wondered what goes into a time capsule? Well if you stop on buy to this program you will not only learn about, but also be able to create your very own small time capsule that you can take home with you. This program is free for children of all ages; a library card is not required to attend. Materials may be limited and are available on a first come, first served basis. The West Las Vegas Library opened to the Historic Westside Neighborhood on D Street in 1973 before moving to its current location on Lake Mead Boulevard in January 1989. In addition to offering a 298-seat theater, the African American Special Collection, and a state-of-the-art robot lab, this 38,900-square-foot library houses 27,700 volumes and has become a prominent part of the community.
