These supportive and collaborative group sessions are designed to help participants learn how to make mindfulness-based living a regular part of their self-care routine.
Presented by Michael Davitt, retired LCSW, this group will provide fellowship and support and help participants learn how to be fully present and aware of where they are and what they are doing at any given time. Whenever you bring awareness to what you're directly experiencing via your senses, or to your state of mind via your thoughts and emotions, you're being mindful. And there's growing research showing that when you train your brain to be mindful, you're actually remodeling the physical structure of your brain, which can help create space for self-healing and joyful living.
Free and open to the public. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis and may be limited. For more information, please call 702.507.3964.
