The Ultimate Measure of a Man is a discussion focused on manhood, fatherhood, and brotherhood.
The program will include:
A keynote presentation by Shaundell Newsome, a local award-winning entrepreneur, father, grandfather, and community advocate, on how men can become better fathers, grandfathers, husbands, and leaders.
A message by Minister J.P. Wilson of Victory Baptist Church, addressing characteristics of manhood to build character.
A robust panel discussion moderated by Sean Torey, featuring UNLV Football Coach and Arena Football Hall of Famer Hunkie Cooper, local entrepreneur Dontae Scott, and UNLV Basketball Legend "Fearless" Freddie Banks.
Youth organizations such as King of Jewels, 100 Black Men, and Mastering Mindsets will be present to provide mentoring opportunities for young men. Additionally, the nonprofit Solutions of Change will offer mental health resources for men, including the opportunity to apply for services based on eligibility.

The West Las Vegas Library opened to the Historic Westside Neighborhood on D Street in 1973 before moving to its current location on Lake Mead Boulevard in January 1989. In addition to offering a 298-seat theater, the African American Special Collection, and a state-of-the-art robot lab, this 38,900-square-foot library houses 27,700 volumes and has become a prominent part of the community.
