Join us for watercolor poetry, tiny clay food creations, and DIY mobiles!
Art Lab is a place for teens to let their creativity shine. Here are November's activities:
11/3 - Watercolor Poetry: Using watercolor paint an abstract background, while it dries we’ll craft poems to put on once dry.
11/10 - Tiny Clay Food Keychains: Like messing around with clay? See if you can create tiny food creations and turn them into keychains.
11/17 - DIY Mobiles: You don’t need to be a crafting expert for this one, but you do need to need to bring your imagination! Using upcycled materials build a masterpiece to hang in your room.
For teens ages 12-17, located in the Best Buy Teen Tech Center on the main floor.
Supplies are limited and on a first come, first serve basis.

Originally opening in 1966 as a three-room library within the Airport Annex building, the Clark County Library moved in 1967 to a storefront. In 1971, the library moved again to its current location using deeded land from the County and with money awarded by the Max C. Fleishman Foundation. The building went on to have two remodels: one completed in 1986, and the second completed in 1994, which resulted in the three-story, 120,000-square-foot building it is today. This redesign notably included a 399-seat theater and an 80-seat black box theater/dance studio. The Library District also added the Best Buy Teen Tech Center, which provides a place for teens to explore and master new technologies and digital skills.
