Art Lab is a place for teens to let their creativity shine. Here are December's activities:
1/5- Quote Poetry: Experimenting with poetry, we'll take some of your favorite quotes and build our own poems.
1/12 - Diamond Painting & Silent Jams: We're all going to listen to our favorite music together silent disco style while we diamond paint.
1/26 - DIY Jewelry-Making: Have you ever wanted to make your own earrings? Join us as we journey into how to do-it-ourselves!
For teens ages 12-17, located in the Best Buy Teen Tech Center on the main floor.
Supplies are limited and on a first come, first served basis.
Please note: Late entries will not be permitted more than 15 minutes after the program begins.
Teens may be asked to show student I.D.

Originally opening in 1966 as a three-room library within the Airport Annex building, the Clark County Library moved in 1967 to a storefront. In 1971, the library moved again to its current location using deeded land from the County and with money awarded by the Max C. Fleishman Foundation. The building went on to have two remodels: one completed in 1986, and the second completed in 1994, which resulted in the three-story, 120,000-square-foot building it is today. This redesign notably included a 399-seat theater and an 80-seat black box theater/dance studio. The Library District also added the Best Buy Teen Tech Center, which provides a place for teens to explore and master new technologies and digital skills.
