The Teen Empowerment Summit returns for its fourth year at UNLV! Teens ages 12 to 18 are invited for a day of inspiration, growth, and community. This event is free and registration is required.
The Teen Empowerment Summit is back — and this year, we’re taking things to the next level. This will be the first year the summit will be held at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV)!
Calling all teens aged 12-18! Join us to "Elevate Your Game" and participate in a dynamic event featuring local influencers who truly understand and connect with teens.
- Hear from cool speakers sharing their stories and wisdom.
- Engage in breakout sessions covering social justice, career exploration, and more.
- Access mental health resources and have your voice heard in a supportive environment.
- Explore different opportunities and resources available.
BREAKOUT SESSIONS WILL INCLUDE:
• “How to be a Boss” featuring Billy Allen
and CEO of Pure Soles Wesley Lewis
• “A Roundtable on Social Justice” featuring
guest speakers from NAACP Las Vegas
Branch, ACLU of Nevada, Mass Liberation
Project Nevada, and Culinary Union 226
• “The Student Experience” featuring staff
and students from UNLV
• “Next Chapter Fair” featuring various
educational and professional organizations.
Each participant will receive an awesome swag bag, and we'll also raffle grand prizes!
Registration opens on February 9th and closes on March 20th.
