Join us for the 2026 MAKER MARCH Building Challenge.
This challenge, for children grades K-12, is to design and build a unique structure out of 200 popsicle sticks or less. The contest runs from March 3rd to March 21st. Building supply kits with the popsicle sticks are available for pick up at the Library starting March 3rd.
Entries will be judge on creativity and engineering skill. Any materials, including paint and markers may be used to decorate the structures so be as creative as you can.
Judging will begin on Tuesday, March 24th. You can turn in your structure early, you don’t need to be present to win, just leave us your contact info. Winners will be notified later in the week.
Free and open to the public. Supplies are Limited, so get your kits early.

Located in the unincorporated township of Moapa, the Moapa Town Library originally opened in March 1989. Combined with the Moapa Recreation and Community Center, the library is located next to the gymnasium in a 2,000-square-foot building that serves 700 customers and houses 9,600 volumes.
