The Las Vegas Dance Academy produces three shows a year, including a full production of "The Nutcracker", and additional outreach performances throughout the year. Las Vegas Dance Academy has received numerous awards at dance competitions, including Title Winners at regionals and nationals, top score winners, top 3 national placements, the Best Music Award, and awards for choreography.

Opened in August 1993, the Summerlin Library is located on six-acres of donated land by the Howard Hughes Corporation. This 40,165-square-foot library houses 59,200 volumes and features a 291-seat proscenium theater complete with an orchestra pit and fly loft.
