IMPROVICELLI is a high-voltage performance group that transforms the classical cello into a weapon of rhythm, melody, and pure creative fire.
Blending virtuosic musicianship with the unpredictability of live improvisation, these artists duel on stage in spontaneous musical battles — trading riffs, harmonies, and humor in a dazzling display of skill and imagination.
Whether they’re reinventing pop hits, spinning cinematic themes, or video games on the spot, IMPROVICELLI proves that the cello can do anything — and that music, at its heart, is a fearless act of play. The cellists form the teams, the audience gets to decide the rules of the games!
Improvicelli was founded by Paul Hyun, Cellist, in SOCAL. along with a community of professional cellists from all different states and cities where they come together to innovate, collaborate, and elevate concerts using the cello in a unique way audience could never imagine.

The Windmill Library opened in May 2011 in the southwest part of Las Vegas. This 30,693-square-foot, energy efficient location was built using sustainable design and construction practices, houses over 95,700 volumes, and features a 300-seat auditorium. The adjacent Service Center houses the Library District’s administrative offices, support functions, and processing center.
