Join staff from UNR Extension for a parenting education workshop series focusing on science, technology, engineering, and math designed for families with preschool aged children.
Let's Discover STEM is a 7-week parenting program focusing on science, technology, engineering, and math designed for families with preschool aged children (ages 3-5). The 1.5 hour class meets once a week and features reading and hands-on learning activities. The program aims to help parents create and encourage STEM based activities for their children while building their children's interest and skills in STEM.
Free and open to the public, however registration is required. Families are expected to attend all sessions. Please call 702.507.6041 for more information.

The Windmill Library opened in May 2011 in the southwest part of Las Vegas. This 30,693-square-foot, energy efficient location was built using sustainable design and construction practices, houses over 95,700 volumes, and features a 300-seat auditorium. The adjacent Service Center houses the Library District’s administrative offices, support functions, and processing center.
