Fabric Painting - Pumpkin Spice Edition
The art of Kinusaiga - no sew fabric art!
Saturday, October 17
12:00pm - 3:00pm
Mt. Charleston Library
Conference RoomJoin us as we practice making pumpkins out of scraps of fabric with the Japanese fabric painting no-sew technique known as Kinusaiga! All supplies provided.
Kinusaiga is a Japanese art form that uses fabric to "paint" pictures. There is no sewing involved! It is a great way to use up scraps of fabric from other projects.
In honor of pumpkin spice season, we will be 'painting' images of pumpkins on 6x6inch foam squares. This project will involve the use of craft knives, scissors, and seam rippers. In the likely event that you do not finish the project in the time provided, you will be able to take enough fabric scraps to finish at home.
All supplies provided. Seating and supplies are limited and first come, first served. For more information, please call 702.872.5585.
