A Shakespeare Sonnet Soiree with Pippa Moss

Lecture HallEnjoy an afternoon of light-hearted readings of a variety of Shakespeare's Sonnets.
Classically-trained British actress Pippa Moss will use her training to creatively "lift" the Sonnets from the page and bring them to life with a belief that Shakespeare should be heard and felt. Shakespeare’s sonnets are 14-line love poems famous for their beautiful rhythm, emotional depth, and timeless exploration of romance, time, and memory.
Pippa trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and has worked extensively in theatres all over the UK, including the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Originally operating out of a storefront on Brush Street, the West Charleston Library opened in its current location in January 1993. This 38,900-square-foot building is located on the northeast corner of the College of Southern Nevada’s Charleston Campus. This location, which features a Digital Memory Preservation Lab, serves its student population and residents with over 67,000 volumes and features a 276-seat lecture hall.
