Shooting a great interview is more than just asking great questions. Framing up your shot properly, making sure the lighting is right, and even shooting in the correct framerate can make the difference between forgettable and first rate!
We'll learn the entire process of setting up and shooting a professional two-camera interview in this two-hour class. You will leave with everything you need to know to go out and start offering these services on your own with confidence.
Topics covered: Shot Composition/Rule Of Thirds, Exposure, White Balance, Frame Rate, Audio Capture, Lighting Techniques, Interview Cadence - how to ask and BE asked questions. And some cheat codes to getting great sound bites with ease.
Please come prepared to Interview and be Interviewed in this round robin style event. Everyone will:
Operate a Camera, Monitor Audio, Sit and be interviewed, Ask interview questions.

The West Las Vegas Library opened originally as a storefront on “D” Street in 1973, and later growing to a 16,000+ square-foot, stand-alone branch on West Lake Mead Boulevard in 1989, the new location on North Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard reflects another important milestone in the Library District’s service to this neighborhood. Spanning two stories at 41,000+ square feet, the library’s spectacular new home is more than double the size of its predecessor. In addition to offering an Event Center, 3D Printing Lab, the Historical African American Collection, and Digital Memories Preservation Lab, this 41,000-square-foot library houses an all-new collection of 60,000 volumes.
