Summerlin Library
TheaterSinger Jonathan Karrant takes the stage together with an all star band to perform some of Karrant's most popular jazz recordings of The Great American Songbook.
Karrant's album, “On and On” hit #4 on the Billboard Jazz charts and his album Live hit #2 on the iTunes Jazz Charts. Named one of Downbeat's top 10 rising vocalists, he has collaborated with such artists as Diane Schuur, Jane Monheit and Houston Person. With a repertoire that spans classic jazz standards and contemporary interpretations, Jonathan brings a modern elegance to the timeless genre of jazz. “A voice, romantic without being cloying, warm but not forced, Jonathan carries songs with an emotional weight that reaches your soul. At the same time he can swing with the kind of jazz suave that was patented by Mel Torme.” Jazz Corner
