Join us for a 4-week series to learn more about climate change and what we can do to affect positive change.
The program is focused at high school-aged kids to teach them about the mechanisms of climate change including the Coriolis Effect, El Nino Southern Oscillation (ENSO), and the Greenhouse Effect, how natural and human actions influence greenhouse gas concentrations and thus climate change, and what we can do in our everyday lives to affect positive change.
Snacks will be provided. Space is limited.
Free and open to the public.
This program is geared for teens in grades 9-12th.

The Windmill Library opened in May 2011 in the southwest part of Las Vegas. This 30,693-square-foot, energy efficient location was built using sustainable design and construction practices, houses over 95,700 volumes, and features a 300-seat auditorium. The adjacent Service Center houses the Library District’s administrative offices, support functions, and processing center.
